Dream Canvas

This is one of my latest projects, I painted over an old painting I had done long time ago and I didn’t like it, so I decided to reuse the canvas and bring into play some of the colors that were already there.

I tried to make a video to show the process of making it and with my wonderful brother’s help we edited it and here I show it to you. I hope you like it.

Cariño

This is another page I made in my online classes with Get it Scrapped. I had to use fabrics on my design and here I used one of my baby’s blankets as part of the background, so it is more than an embellishment, it’s a memorabilia. I also tried to do everything by hand, cutting the letters of title drawn by me, drawing doodles and designs on the mat.

Goggles and swimming

Another layout I made a while ago. The photo was so funny that I needed to scrap it! My girl came up with the title; it’s so simple and accurate that I wouldn’t have thought of it. I made it as homework on one of the on-line classes I took at Get it Scrapped with Tania Willis, she’s a great teacher, I really like her.

Be very Happy

This is a beautiful layout made on fabric, and most of the embellishments are also made with fabrics. It’s gorgeous, you have to see it and touch it. I made with one of Donna Downey’s kits; it’s called Happiness page fabric kit. I bought it to see something coming from her, I really like her work and I wanted to have a feeling of working with her because I’ll be taking one of her classes in October. I can’t wait.

I tried to follow all of her instructions to get the same result. When I show it to people they just love it….so do I!

Class: Tags

Last week I had an amazing class teaching a little bit of different techniques. We worked on 4 similar tags, using Distress Inks, Perfect Pearls, acrylic stamps: the Stamps of Life and Heroarts.
We had fun mixing colors, making mistakes and fixing them, and trying to use different ideas on this set of similar tags.

I'm really proud of my wonderful student Fabiana.

MX Pasión

I made a layout about my husband’s passion: motocross. I was beginning my scrapbooking but I’m very proud of the results.

I made a double page layout with pockets, detailed pictures, did a bit of sawing and chalk for the tire…It took me a bit of time to finish it, but it was worth it.

Best Uncle

Hi!

This is a layout I made long time ago... It's about my brother helping me with the kids, he's the best! My daughter came up with the title...so cute!
I wanted to use fabrics on my layout and make it simple. I found this colorful fabric and it matched with the color of the legos, so I decided to have a plain background to let the fabric and picture stand out.
